Footwear brand Skechers Malaysia is bringing back their highly-anticipated Friendship Walk but this time, it's going to be all virtual.

Returning for the third time, Skecher's Friendship Walk will be taking place from 5 August to 6 September this year.

And because of the pandemic, there will be no huge gathering this year, but instead, you are able to complete your chosen distance virtually -- 3km, 5km or 10km -- within this period.

You can also choose their desired track, allowing them to walk around the city, at the park or even in the comforts of home on the treadmill; it's totally your call.

According to Zann Lee, Vice President of Skechers Southeast Asia, the virtual run format is more flexible and allows more people to take part from anywhere and anytime within the one month period.
