No matter how obsessed you are with social media, most of what you see is probably fake.

To prove the point, YouTuber Natalia Taylor recently tricked her followers into believing that she took a luxurious tropical vacation in Bali but what she really did was go to a nearby IKEA store.

What a prank!

Heading to

According to Mashable Southeast Asia, Taylor basically dressed up and had a photographer snap photos of her in various IKEA model rooms.

Taylor managed to trick her fans into believing that she was vacationing in Bali, despite posing in front of a tag that literally said IKEA.

Tag in plain sight.

When one of her followers congratulated her for living her best life, she replied, “I mean that's not a lie, it's just not the life you think I'm living.”

Taylor later apologised for duping her followers and said that she did it to prove an important point.

"This video has a lesson - don't trust everything you see on the internet!"

"Sometimes people want to lie about who you are as a person, and it's not hard to do apparently," she said.

So, listen to Taylor ya'll. Never believe everything you see on social media!
