Take A Peek At The Totally ??? Bata x Coca-Cola Sneaker Collection

Over the past couple of years, we've seen some pretty interesting sneaker collaborations -- Nike and Off White, Vans and Nasa, Diadora and 'Rick and Morty', to name a few -- but very soon, we'll able to add one more collab to the list - and this one would feel closer to home.

Everyone's favourite childhood shoe brand Bata Heritage (which, contrary to popular belief, is not a Malaysian brand) will soon be releasing a very limited edition, very exclusive sneaker capsule in a collaboration with the world's largest beverage company Coca-Cola!

How Coca-Cola fans are feeling right now.

Yep, that's right: arguably two of the world's biggest brands will be joining forces for one totally lit collection.

For its Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Bata will be putting a fresh spin on two of its most inconic models: the Bata Tennis and the Hotshot.

The Bata Tennis model is one that we're all familiar with, as we would've most probably worn this during our primary and secondary school days.

But for this collaboration, the model called 'The Signature' will feature a prominent Coca-Cola logo in white on the lateral side of the shoe, drawn on red canvas that covers the entire upper portion of the shoes.

It comes with white laces, a white rubber outsole and a white toe cap with an old-school ridge pattern.

The Bata Tennis 'The Signature' is set to retail for RM199.

Meanwhile, for the Malaysian market, the Hotshot model wears the iconic colours of Coca-Cola in two different styles.

The Hotshot line, of course, used to be the sneaker of choice for legendary musician Kurt Cobain, who was spotted rocking the sneakers on several occasions during his heyday.

'The Real Thing' -- our favourite, by the way -- features an off white canvas with striking red stitching, laces, side and back logo, as well as thick piping going all around the shoe.

This minimalistic version also comes with Coca-Cola's famous tagline 'The Real Thing' embossed on the side of the sole and the brand's logo on the heel tab.

The second design in the Hotshot capsule, called 'International', features the same off white canvas of the first one, but with the Coca-Cola logo in red covering almost the entire sneaker.

The coolest part about those logos? It spells out Coca-Cola in different languages! We love!

Just like 'The Signature' line, it features white laces, a white outsole and a white toe cap, with a red heel tab embossed with the Coca-Cola logo.

'The Real Thing' and 'The Signature' will retail for RM299 per pair.

So, where and when can you get your hands on a pair? The Coca-Cola + Bata Heritage SS19 capsule collection will be exclusively available at Bata Suria KLCC and on their official website from 15 March onwards.

Better be quick though, 'cos we have a feeling the sneakers will fly off the shelves.
