Famed American fast food chain Five Guys recently opened their first store in Malaysia:

But here's the problem: in order for you to sink your teeth into one of their famously juicy burgers, you would need to take a road trip all the way up to Genting Highlands.

Don't worry; you wouldn't have to do that any more soon.

Closer to 'home'

Five Guys is set to open their second outlet in Malaysia and this time, it will be located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

And this time, their second store will be located at Pavilion KL, Bukit Bintang.

Pavillion KL confirmed the news via a post on their Facebook page on Tuesday (26 October):

Judging by the photo, the outlet will be opened at the ground floor of Pavilion Elite, right next to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Other than that, there's no mention on when the outlet will be opening, so if you need to scratch the Five Guys itch, you would still need to take a road trip to Genting Highlands for now.

Meanwhile, Malaysians who've got the chance to visit their outlet in Genting have shared pictures of the menu, so friendly warning: be prepared to splurge quite a bit.

According to this tweet, the prices of one burger ranges from RM30 for a Little Cheesburger, all the way to RM40 for the full-sized Cheeseburger:

We have no idea if the pricing will be the same at the KL outlet, but Five Guys pride themselves in making their burgers, hot dogs and fries "fresh every day" (so much so that they don't even have any microwaves in their outlets in the US), so we guess it's a price to pay for fresh food.

However, you can find solace in knowing that Five Guys has a reputation of offering you more food than you can eat, so splitting a burger with your friends is an option.

Are you guys excited to try Five Guys? Who's going to be in line on opening day?
