There’s Now An App To Track Your Favourite Food Trucks Across The Klang Valley

You love the feeling of exploring new food trends and guilty pleasures out of a mobile vehicle but there’s one thing that irks you when it comes to food trucks – you don’t really know where their next location is, or if they are closed for the day.

If this happens to you quite frequently, then you might want to play close attention: there’s now an app that can help you track all your favourite food trucks.

Kapita is a newly-introduced app where food truck vendors can connect to their customers by updating them on the food truck’s next location.

So now, you can kiss your frustrations goodbye every time you want to go hunt for a food truck!

“I think food trucks are a trend here in Petaling Jaya and most business owners, now, prefer owning a mobile truck than a proper shop due to its mobility as this gives them a wider area coverage,” said Petaling Jaya mayor Datuk Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain told The Star during the launch of the app.

Mohd Azizi also believes that food trucks can be the next big tourist attraction which also can help promote some local delicacies at the same time.

The app also enables vendors to book their spots at various venues and at their own preferred time slots – 6am to 10am, 11am to 3pm and 5pm to 2am.

There are reportedly over 200 vendors registered with the app, so you might want to start scrolling to find your favourite food truck!
