And this year's red carpet affair at the 2020 Golden Globes is a pretty special one for Malaysia.
Dressing the celebs
Malaysian fashion designer Khoon Hooi left his mark at the awards show after a couple of popular Hollywood were seen walking the red carpet donning his creation.
According to a report by The Star Online, Karen Pittman, the actress starring in the Golden Globe-nominated television series ‘The Morning Show’, was spotted in an amazing frock from Khoon Hooi’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
The design is dubbed the "Bianca gown".
Another celebrity who donned Khoon Hoi’s design was Ginnifer Goodwin, who starred in the television drama ‘Once Upon A Time’.
She was photographed wearing the "Fabiana Dress" from the same collection at the 7th Annual Golden Globes Luncheon.
This is not the first time Khoon Hooi has dressed popular Hollywood celebrities.
Singer-songwriter Katy Perry donned his design at the annual 101.3 KDWB’s 2019 Jingle Ball holiday concert in Minnesota, while model and actress Camila Morrone wore his creation to the 2019 Marrakech International Film Festival that same month.
