These Pictures Of Vietnam's Golden Bridge Will Make You Wish You Were There

Meet Vietnam's newest tourist sensation: the Golden Bridge.

Located on the Ba Na Hills in central Vietnam, the Golden Bridge (also known as Cau Vang) has quickly become one of the top tourist spots in the small little country, thanks to its gorgeous mountain views and its magnificent architecture.

Hey, don't just take our word for it; just take a look at this picture:

The pedestrian structure, which features a pair of giant hands holding it up, was designed by local company called TA Landscape Architecture.

The Golden Bridge sits at over 1,000 meters above sea level and extends over a mountain cliff.

The entire bridge is around 150 meters long, so it's the perfect place for you to take your bae on a picturesque long walk.

TA Landscape Architecture's design principal Vu Viet Anh told Reuters in an interview that they wanted the bridge to represent the “giant hands of Gods, pulling a strip of gold out of the land”.

Here's the cool thing about the giant hands: at first glance, they look like they were made of stone, but they are actually built using steel mesh and concrete with a fiberglass finish.

Not only that, each side of the bridge is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums.

Despite setting the Vietnamese government back by USD2 billion (RM8.1 billion) and taking almost one year to finish, TA Landscape Architecture's work isn't done just yet.

News site BBC reported that the developers are planning to build an adjoining silver bridge to represent a strand of God's hair.

We for one can't wait to see how that will turn out.
