Over the past few years, apparel brand Timberland has been trying their best to help save Mother Earth by reducing waste and reusing recycled material to make their products.

Well, they have done it again this year.

Save the world with your kicks!

Timberland has just launched their new footwear line, and this one is pretty special because the soles are made out of sugar cane.

The Solar Wave Oxford Low and Solar Wave Hiker lines feature Timberland's innovative GreenStride™comfort soles which is made with 75 per cent renewable natural materials.

According to the brand, the key 'ingredient' of the yellow-coloured sole is sugar cane, and packed together with responsible natural rubber, it helps bring footwear closer to net positivity.

The Solar Wave Oxford Low, which comes in both men’s and women’s sizes, features an upper that is made entirely of ReBOTL™ fabric.

The Men’s Solar Wave Hiker, meanwhile, is a mid-top design featuring an upper that is part Better Leather, sourced from tanneries rated silver for their environmental practices, and part ReBOTL™ fabric made of at least 50 per cent recycled plastic.

A stylish pop of yellow colour highlights the source of comfort: GreenStride™ comfort soles.

Both styles also feature ReBOTL™ linings, Defender Repellent Systems® protective treatment, plus toe bumpers and heels made of climbing rubber.

Timberland also announced that they'll be dropping more footwear with GreenStride™soles throughout the year, including the soon-to-drop Earth Day pack.

The Solar Wave Oxford Low will retail for RM469, while the Solar Wave Hiker will go for RM599.

Head on over to your nearest Timberland store to check them out, or you can also do so on their official website.
