We've seen talented Malaysians doing wonderful things with LEGO bricks:
These two Malaysians, however, took their hobbies up a notch by building a replica of an iconic Malaysian building.
Brick by brick
According to a report by Mashable SEA, Bruce Lee Chiau Han and Michael Choy Kum Weng, who met in the Synergy Lego Users Group Facebook group, banded together to build the iconic Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim in Johor Bahru from scratch.Lee wrote in a Facebook post that both of them had to first create a custom, money-can't-buy LEGO My Own Creation (MOC) set.
Then, Lee spent two weeks studying the building's structure, before they started constructing the Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim.
Overall, the duo took almost six weeks to build the entire building using 15,000 LEGO bricks.
According to Lee, both he and Choy decided to construct the building to celebrate the opening of LEGO's new store in Johor Bahru on 30 November.
If you guys are in Johor, you can stop by the Box of Bricks outlet in Midvalley Southkey Johor Bahru to check out the impressive build.
Just remember to be careful when you're walking past it, OK?
