Remember when Crocs were in fashion? You know, the ugly-looking sandals with holes which are supposedly comfortable and indestructible that almost everyone hates but people are still buying them?

A luxury brand has attempted to change the sandals’ reputation by taking it all the way to Paris Fashion Week. And you got to admit, it was quite a bold attempt.
On Sunday, Balenciaga showed off its latest Spring-Summer 2018 collection and several pairs of bright-colour shoes walking on the runway caught everyone’s attention – platform Crocs.

This collection was created by Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia. Not only did he take the iconic Crocs to the next level (literally), he also added the option where you can attach limited edition Balenciaga pins on the upper part of the shoes.

This collaboration could put Crocs back on the fashion map and we’re not surprised if we see more of this kind of fashion fusion happening in the next few months or years.
But still, people were savage.
This wasn't the first time Balenciaga produced outrageous designs, like the last time they brought out their IKEA-inspired shopping bag and luxury shopping bag.
Seriously, we'll never understand high fashion. But if any of you do and would actually rock a pair of Balenciaga platform Crocs, send us pictures!
