Hands up if you are the type of person who simply chucks leftovers into your refrigerator and never looks at it again.

If you do that, don't worry; we won't judge you.

A woman from the UK, however, has shocked netizens for showing off her perfectly organised refrigerator on TikTok.

'Serial killer vibe'

And before we go any further, no; we are not talking about neatly-arranged tupperwares containing fruits, meats and vegetables.

We are talking about something more over-the-top than that, because Nicole McLaughlin’s fridge actually looks like a file cabinet, or a library, if you will.

Take a look at this image:

And here's another just for good measure:

Yup, that's right; McLaughlin organises her fridge using binders and folders just like one would with paperwork.

According to a report by Metro UK, McLaughlin stores ingredients like pieces of bread, cheeses, meats and condiments inside labelled ring binders.

A TikTok video of her revealing the contents of the fridge has gone massively viral with over 10.4 million views to date.

As you would expect, the video was criticised by many netizens who felt that McLaughlin had gone overboard with arrangements that are unnecessary.

One TikTok user commented that the fridge gives them a "serial killer" vibe.

Another added: "I feel like sociopaths do this, like what is this?"

It's all for show

To her defence, the 28-year-old from Brooklyn, New York told the news portal that the arrangement was part of an art project that showed a 'serial killer' fridge, so it's not real.

"One night before I was going to sleep, I suddenly had the thought 'What if the refrigerator was like a library and it was so organised?'

"I know some people already organise the food in their fridge into labelled containers so I thought it’d be funny if I took it to the next level, and have it be super organised by whatever the type of food was," she was quoted as saying.

McLaughlin told Metro UK that she shot the TikTok video at her beach-house’s kitchen while she was on holiday with her parents.

"I brought all the stuff with me. [My mum and dad] thought I was insane, but my parents get what I do at this point," she was quoted as saying.

What do you guys think of this? Do you get her vibe, or is it too much for you?
