UNO Finally Confirms That We've Been Playing The Card Game Wrong Our Entire Life
If you're looking for a fun game night with your friends or family, there's no better card game to play than Cards Against Humanity UNO.
The card game is arguably one of the most popular card games out there, not only because it's very simple to learn and play, but also because it's a source of countless hours of entertainment (especially when you manage to get your friends to draw half a stack of cards).
But UNO's recent revelation would soon change the way we play the game - because apparently, we've been playing it wrong all this while!
Our whole life is a lie
The makers of the popular card game recently set social media abuzz when they confirmed via a Tweet that a player cannot stack +2 cards on top of another.According to UNO, that would be against the rule of the game.
"Per management: You cannot STACK a +2 on a +2," the company tweeted.*Per management: ? You cannot STACK a +2 on a +2 ?Go ahead, roast us.— UNO (@realUNOgame) October 8, 2020
Basically, what this means is that if your friend drops a +2 card before you, you would have to draw two cards and skip a turn - full stop. You're no longer allowed to stack another +2 and make your friend after you draw four cards.
We know what you're thinking, and the answer is no; UNO has clearly stated that no stacking of any cards are allowed, which means that you can't stack a +4 card as well.
Bummer.
Of course, a lot of netizens were taken aback by the 'new' rule:
