When you have an active imagination, nothing is ever boring.

This one man from Negri Sembilan proved just that.

All aboard the mini train

Using just an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) and colourful empty water containers, Sahran Sirain used his creativity to build a mini train ride for the kids in his village.

A video of his fun ride, which was built only last week, was posted on TikTok and it has gone viral with close to 600,000 views to date.

In the video, Sahran can be seen playing the train conducter as excited children had a fun time travelling around on the mini train.

Sahran told Malay Mail that he was inspired to put together the ride after seeing his friend doing it.

“When I saw my friend from another neighbourhood making the mini train ride, I decided to make my own using empty water containers and my ATV.

“I bought the vehicle five years ago to use in the oil palm plantation. But because there were potholes on the roads coupled with my backache pain from all those rides, I had stopped using it for a while.

“So I thought, why not use it to bring cheer to children and gain some money?” he was quoted as saying.

Sahran's mini train has proven to be a hit amongst the children in his village - so much so that he had to turn down some requests because he had too many bookings.

“With interstate travels now allowed, many have been returning to their kampung and children from different states are excited to get on the train ride.

“There are days where I’m unable to fulfil everyone’s wishes as there are too many bookings and my schedule is tight," he was quoted as saying, adding that he employed two motorcycle escorts in the front and back for safety reasons to make sure the children are properly tucked inside,” he was quoted as saying.

His rides are priced at RM3 for children and RM5 for adults for a duration of 20 minutes.

We have to say, that's a pretty awesome way to keep the kids entertained while earning a side income.
