Berjaya Hotels and Resorts has recently launched a direct flight service from the Subang Skypark Terminal to Redang Island, Terengganu using an ATR 42-500 aircraft that’s operated by Berjaya Air.

Berjaya has two resorts on the island; The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort and Redang Island Resort.

So, instead of flying to the Sultan Mahmud Airport in Kuala Terengganu and driving to the Marang Jetty to catch the boat to the island, you can now skip all that and take a 75-minute flight directly into Redang Island.

But with that kind of convenience comes with a catch – its price tag.

We did a quick check on how much a one-way trip from Subang Airport to Redang would cost and apparently, it’ll set you back between RM969 to RM1,518 depending on the date.

But if you’re looking to make that trip worth the bank, you can opt for the half board package offered by The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort which includes accommodation, return flight, shuttle from Redang airport to resort, and meals starting from as low as RM2,388 (3D2N) to RM3,188 (5D4N).
