Made from recycled waste

The coffee chain recently unveiled their brand new merchandise line in collaboration with popular lifestyle brand Herschel Supply and damn, they are gorgeous!

Oh, did we also tell you that this limited-edition merchandise line is made 100 per cent out of recycled material sourced from landfills?

Erin Silvoy, Vice President of Category and Marketing, Starbucks Asia Pacific, said in a statement that Starbucks has always been a big fan of sustainability, and thus, the Starbucks X Herschel Supply designer collection was born.

"As part of these efforts, this exclusive collection is thoughtfully crafted for the eco-conscious customer on-the-go.

"Made from 100 per cent recycled plastic bottles (PET), this collection diverts plastic from landfills and oceans, effectively giving these materials a second life as a stylish and convenient accessory for a sustainable lifestyle," Silvoy said in a press release.

The collection includes an assortment of stylish bags made from recycled plastic and drinkware featuring bold colors and eye-catching messages that are mainly focused on sustainability.

Classic XL Bag Pack

Price: RM335 The bag pack features a camo black and grey colorway with an eye-catching orange zipper. The utilitarian-like bag pack features top and bottom easy-access pockets made from recovered plastic material and an air mesh back padding and reinforced base.

Long Tote Bag

Price: RM168 The contemporary tote bag made from recovered plastic material features a hanging compartment with brown fabric extended handles that allow it to be comfortably worn on the shoulder. If you look closely, you'll spot the words ‘Reuse and Recycle' on the tote bag.
