We Rank The Alley's New Croffle Menu With Five Different Flavours
Remember the good ol’ boba days? Well, out of every other boba store, The Alley still looks strong and marching on. Recently, the brand made headlines with its innovative take on our favourite childhood snack, Super Ring.
After the launch of the drink, The Alley doesn’t look like slowing down. The brand released yet another innovative product just that this time, it’s not in liquid form.
The Alley launched its new croffle menu with five unique flavours for you to try!
For all you asking, a croffle is an interesting combination between a croissant and a waffle, usually served with toppings.
We gave all five flavours a try and here’s how we rank them.

5. Garlic Cheese

We love croffle and we can’t lie, but the prospect of having a savoury croffle with garlic and cheese in your mouth for the first time ever? Frankly was a tad bit unexciting.
But boy, The Alley proved us wrong. The Garlic Cheese generously topped with Mozarella cheese and glazed with Tru-Blue Garlic Butter is a surprise treat from The Alley. After Super Ring, their R&D department slays yet again by taking a risk in innovating. Bravo.
However, we do recommend you to consume it while it’s still hot for maximum Mozarella experience.
The next one is even more brainlessly mindblowing - because the concept is far simpler.

4. The Classic

Yes, the classic. Plain croffle with nothing on it. No glaze, no sauce, no topping. Just pure warm and fluffy goodness. The texture is a straight-up combination of a waffle and croissant; soft, crunchy and delectable.
Typically, there’s not much to say about this one. But if the basic version of a dish is already delicious; why complicate it? We’re glad that The Alley is brave enough to put this simple dish out on its own, which shows their confidence in this new croffle menu.
We recommend you pair this croffle with a sweet drink for a heightened sensory experience, gitchu.

3. Crunchy Salted Caramel

We love the simple classic croffle, means the toppings for the 3rd best has to be excellent enough to top the simplicity of the classic. Frankly, the Crunchy Salted Caramel deserves the spot.
Sloshed with whipped cream and a dash of salted caramel sauce with cereal flakes, the Crunchy Salted Caramel croffle presents the best of three worlds; soft, crunchy and creamy all in one big bite. The toffee flavour adds quite an interesting kick at the end of it, too.
But there’s a reason why this one sits in the third place because the second one is just simply irresistible.

2. Oreo Chocolate – RM11.90

This one is a complete no-brainer. Every iconic doughnut shop has somewhat of a rendition of this because frankly, nothing can go around with anything oreo chocolate.
Sprinkled with chonky crushed Oreo, topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup, the Oreo Chocolate is the stuff of dreams. Oreo bits on a soft buttery croffle? Hits the spot everytime.
But please don’t consume this while driving, especially if you’re wearing a white shirt. Highly not recommended.
This warm croffle is topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and crushed Oreo cookies toppings. If you love cookies and cream, you should give this one a try.
It’s definitely a sweet affair, honestly.

1. Brown Sugar Deerioca

Finally, the best flavour in The Alley’s new croffle menu is the Brown Sugar Deerioca. How can’t it be? It’s everything The Alley stands for: originality and innovation. Newness supported by a strong foundation of familiarity. It’s the perfect snack from The Alley, especially if you’re a loyal customer already.
The croffle is soft, chewy, crunchy and with the combination of the whipping cream and a cup of Brown Sugar Deerioca, the croffle becomes uniquely creamy. Unique is a keypoint here, because we can’t pinpoint what the unique twist in flavour actually is. Could it be brown sugar? Or The Alley’s own signature recipe? Honestly, we don’t care, as long as we can get our hands on the
