If you're heading to Melaka and looking for a hotel that’s stylish, comfy, and super convenient for either business or pleasure, the newly launched Dusit Princess Melaka might just be your perfect match. Located right in the middle of all the action, this modern hotel blends Thai-inspired hospitality with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
From cozy rooms to great food, here’s what we loved during our time at Dusit Princess Melaka.
A room that feels like a retreat
Our room at Dusit Princess Melaka was the perfect blend of comfort and style. Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was plush and inviting, ideal after a long day of exploring the city and we loved the little touches like the soft lighting, ample storage, and a cozy seating area by the window.

The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, with a great shower with amazing water pressure and quality amenities. Plus, the view from our room gave us a lovely glimpse of the city skyline. It really felt like a calm escape right in the middle of the action.
Flavours to remember
With three distinctive dining venues under one roof, your taste buds are in for a treat at Dusit Princess Melaka. Start your day at Zest Restaurant, a bright and welcoming all-day dining spot where international favourites meet local flair think comfort food with a Melakan twist.
During our stay, we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Zest Restaurant, and each meal was a delightful experience in its own right. The breakfast buffet offered a generous spread of both local and international options, from freshly baked pastries and tropical fruits to made-to-order eggs and traditional Asian dishes.

Lunch was equally impressive, with a rotating menu that kept things exciting whether we were in the mood for a light salad or a more hearty dish. Dinner was the highlight of our day, featuring beautifully plated dishes and a delicious food that made every evening feel special. The consistency in quality and the warm hospitality of the staff made dining at Zest not just convenient, but genuinely memorable.
Some of the highlights of the food at Zest included the live noodle station, freshly grilled satay and seafood skewers, as well as their well-known teh tarik, which is reputed to be one of the best in Melaka. We also loved that freshly made-to-order juices were available during breakfast.

If you're looking for something more refined, Long Feng Chinese Restaurant delivers authentic Cantonese cuisine in an elegant setting, complete with signature dim sum. When it’s time to wind down, head to the Famosa Lounge, a stylish space perfect for sipping cocktails, nibbling on light bites, and soaking in the laid-back vibes.
Although we didn't manage to experience the fare at either Long Feng or the Famosa Lounge, the food we had at Zest was amazing. From the live noodle station to the freshly grilled satay and seafood skewers, every dish was packed with flavour and served with a smile. The teh tarik, in particular, stood out—it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the best in Melaka.
Whether you're in the mood for bold flavours, traditional favourites, or just a good drink and great company, Dusit Princess Melaka has your cravings covered.
