Remember back in 2016 when Pokémon Go was all the rage? People started going out more, new friendships were formed, all in the name of being “the very best (Pokémon trainer) that no one ever was.”

The game slowly died down about six months later with only a handful of people or true Pokémon trainers left still playing the game. Well, move aside Pokemasters, as a new game is coming to town and will take the world again by *magical* storm.

The creators of Pokémon Go, Niantic, has dropped some exciting news on Thursday that will get every muggle and wizard or witch all hyped up.

Get ready to go on a magical adventure, as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is a new augmented reality (AR) game that lets players experience the magical world of Harry Potter and learn to be a wizard/witch without the need to attend Hogwarts. So, don’t be sad if you’ve never received your Hogwarts acceptance letter, this game might just be the closest thing yet.

We know right?!
According to a statement from Niantic, Potterheads will “learn spells, explore their real-world neighborhoods and cities to discover and fight legendary beasts and team up with others to take down powerful enemies.”

So, you can now berangan learning how to cast “Alohomora” to unlock doors, try to pronounce “Wingardium Leviosa” properly to get your items to levitate, and even try to “Expecto Patronum” the dreadful dementors until the game comes out.

Remember ah, it's not leviosarr.
No word yet on when the game will be launched but it is said to drop sometime around 2018. Now all we need is a newer version of the Time-Turner Necklace that can teleport us into the future instead of the past so that we can play the game. Seriously, the anticipation is killing us!
