Woman Plans On Giving Out Maggi Mee As A Wedding Door Gift, Netizens Approve!

Not that we're complaining, but don't you just wish that people would give out something more useful as door gifts at a wedding? A potpourri bag is cool and all, but what can you exactly do with it?

Well, a woman from Negri Sembilan has decided to give out the best wedding door gift ever: a couple packs of instant noodles.

According to a report by Malay Mail (quoting a report from Harian Metro), bride-to-be Siti Najihah Zamani had always wanted to give out Maggi noodles as her wedding door gifts since she was still in school.

She will finally have a chance to make her dream come true as she will be getting hitched on 28 September.

Siti Najihah took to Twitter to explain how her unconventional choice for a door gift saved her a lot of money.

“Five boxes for only RM300,” she wrote, explaining that her choice was made because she didn’t want to waste money and she wanted a gift that her guests could enjoy.

She told the Malay daily that her parents and fiancé supported her idea, and judging by the reaction she got for her tweet, (9,000 retweets and 13,000 likes so far), Malaysians seem to approve as well:
