Imagine biting into your pizza expecting to taste familiar ingredients like chicken, mushroom and cheese but instead finding ingredients that should not be on your pizza or any food, really.

That was exactly what happened to a woman from the United Kingdom who ordered a pizza from her local Domino’s Pizza.

According to a report in Times Now News, the woman was halfway through her pizza when she noticed nuts and bolts baked into her pizza toppings.

Naturally she was shocked and horrified!

She received an apology and refund

She then called the outlet for a refund. The outlet has since apologised and even refunded the woman’s money.

However, the news has spread like wildfire in the social media as the woman shared her ordeal online.

In her caption, she asked people to check their pizzas before eating as it could be a serious ‘choking hazard’ and ‘health and safety issue’.

In a statement to respond to the woman’s post, the company said it had apologised to her, saying they had spoken to the store to prevent such incidents in the future. The statement said a store level investigation was also launched.

"At Domino's, we take customer satisfaction and safety extremely seriously - contamination of this nature is extremely rare," said the company.

We sure hope they do! Sounds like sabotage to us, don't you guys think?
