There's a brand new augmented reality (AR) game coming that will make you go, 'Pokemon what?'.

According to tech site Android Authority, a 'Pokemon Go'-style mobile game is in the works - and this one is based on the 'Ghostbusters' films!

Called 'Ghostbusters World', this game will let people like you and us to play the role of a Ghostbuster - complete with a proton pack, by the way - who goes around trapping scary hantu.

Just remember not to cross streams.

The game is currently being developed by the game publishing company 4:33 and Ghost Corps, a company owned by one of the original 'Ghostbusters' actors Dan Aykroyd and the director of the films Ivan Reitman that oversees 'Ghostbuster' projects.

According to the report, fans of arguably one of the best film series ever can expect to see original characters and ghosts from the two original movies in the game.

Not only that, 'Ghostbusters World' will also reportedly feature characters from spin-offs, the recent reboot, cartoons and comic books, as well as introduce brand new characters and ghosts.

The bad news is, there's no set release date for the game yet, but the report mentioned that it will be released sometime later this year.

'Ghostbusters World' is expected to make its debut at the Mobile World Congress 2018, which will officially start today (Monday, 26 February).

We hope they'll release more information about the game soon, because it looks awesome af.
