The man, who is admitted to the Wuhan Hankou with his 83-year-old wife, apparently has been taking care of the latter despite both having tested postitive for the Convid-19 virus.

A genuine love story

Mothership Singapore reported that a nurse, Sun Xiao Yu, noticed the man's devotion towards his wife, who was faring worse off than him.

According to the nurse, the sweet elderly man would hold on to his wife's IV drips, feeds her and even rests by her bed on some nights despite having been assigned different wards.

The woman was placed under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as she had a bad lung infection, although her condition is reportedly stable.

Sun revealed that the wife would only eat her meals when her husband feeds her or is there to comfort her, and when breakfast is served every morning, the man would bring it to her first.

We don't know Chinese so we can't tell you everything that's been said in the video, but the story still made our hard hearts go just a little softer.
