Selangor folks, it's that time again.

It's time for water cuts!

On Wednesday (24 March), Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd has asked for users in Petaling, Klang and Shah Alam to prepare for a two-day water disruption starting 30 March.

The disruption will take place from 9am to 9pm daily and would affect five areas in Petaling, 14 in Klang and 11 in Shah Alam.

Water supply is scheduled to fully resume at 9am on 1 April.

New pipes to be installed

Air Selangor said that the disruption is due to removal and replacement works for old pipes at Persiaran Selangor Section 15, Shah Alam.

Additionally, scheduled water disruptions will also occur in 12 areas within the Gombak district and 46 areas in Kuala Lumpur beginning 6 April.

Be prepared.
The disruption will start from 9am to 9pm daily and will last 68 hours.

Air Selangor said that this is due to the replacement of a valve for raw water from the Klang Gates Dam.

“Water supply is expected to resume fully at 5am on 9 April, ” they said via a statement on Facebook.

So you guys, you know what to do.

Make sure you have enough water stored away to manage during the stated periods.
