Passengers on board an AirAsia flight this morning probably had the roughest and most frightening landing of their lives. The aircraft from Chennai, flight AK12, experienced a deflated tyre upon landing at KLIA2 this morning as confirmed by the airline.
No one was harmed during the incident and all passengers and crew members have safely disembarked the aircraft. "All guests and crew are safe and have been disembarked. We apologise for the discomfort experienced by our guest”, told AirAsia via its Twitter account.
An airline spokesperson said an official statement will be issued later in the day.
