It's only been 15 days since 2021 began and it's been quite a roller coaster ride - with more downs than up.
Unfortunately, we've got news of another major 'down' for you.
Sealed Air, the company that has been selling Bubble Wrap since the 60s are coming up with a new form of their product which will not pop!
According to The Wall Street Journal, the new product called iBubble Wrap (oh, how we loathe it already) will be flat and airless.
Why the change?

The new product is considered an improvement as it takes up less space while providing the same level of protection.
The report said that a truckload of iBubble Wrap would be able to hold as much packaging material as 47 truckloads of the usual bubble wrap.
How it works is that the iBubble Wrap has air bubbles that are filled into columns, and the bubbles in each column are connected.
So if you press on it, the air just shifts, it doesn't POP!
Boring betul lah!
The good news is that the company will still be making their traditional Bubble Wrap and other companies would probably still continue making the versions that pop too - for now.
