'Anonymous Malaysia Hackers Are Skilled In IT' - Malaysia's CCID Chief, 2021
Throughout its existence, the hacker group known as 'Anonymous Malaysia' has been a thorn in the Malaysian government's side.
Recently, the group sent out a warning, threatening to hack our governmental websites:
Thankfully, our abang-abang polis put an end to the threats by arresting those responsible, during which they stumbled upon a pretty shocking revelation: the hackers are pretty good at IT stuff.
Pointing out the obvious?
After apprehending and investigating 11 suspects last week, the police came to a conclusion that a majority of the hackers have a solid background in information technology (IT).(Strange, we always thought hackers have backgrounds in hotel management or in journalism, like us at Rojak Daily)

According to Zainuddin, the police are still investigating the hacker group's motive.
"Investigations are still ongoing, and the group's motive in hacking governmental websites could be due to them wanting to show off, gather information as well as peer pressure," Zainuddin told the Malay daily on Monday (22 February).
He added that all 11 suspects have been released on police bail, and no new arrests have been made so far.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, said the suspects who were arrested during the raids were aged between 22 and 40.
They were suspected of launching a series of cyber attacks on government websites, and were remanded for three days to facilitate investigations under Section 4 of the Computer Crimes Act 1997.
Well, we guess it's up to our abang-abang polis -- who, we are pretty certain, are pretty skilled at catching bad guys -- to bring the whole group down.
