Are You Going To Be Ter-Persona with the Persona?

Marcus Lee 16/08/2016 | 08:34 MYT
Those are some tiny, tiny wheels. As numerous reports have affirmed, this is a stretched out Iriz (meaning it was built on an Iriz platform). It will only be available in 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated VVT engine (107 hp, 150Nm) unlike the Iriz and is mated to a CVT or manual transmission (Standard variant only).
Other standout features include a 510-litre boot, fuel consumption figures, if you're driving at 90km/h only, is rated at 5.6 litres/100km in manual transmission and 6.1 litres/100km in CVT, and Eco Drive Assist indicator light. Just the light though, it won't actually effect fuel consumption. Want an Eco Drive Assist for free? Just get your mom in the car whenever you drive and you'll be saving so much fuel, the Ringgit might drop even lower.
According to Paultan.org's review, the CVT response and NVH levels of the Persona is an improvement over the Iriz. The interior is slighty roomier and overall colours are softer, with grey instead of black in the Iriz. It will be available in six colours, i.e., cotton white, fire red, sterling silver, graphite grey, quartz black and carnelian brown. Booking is now open and the grand unveiling is scheduled for Aug 23. The booking fee is RM300 and is refundable. There's a three-year free service offer, which includes parts and labour as the introductory offer for bookings made by Sept 30, 2016. Prices will be from RM47,000 to RM61,000 and it will come in three variants – Standard, Executive, and Premium.
