Since its inception, the Digital Media Asia (DMA) awards have brought together hundreds of industry players every year that are made up of publishers, editors, and digital executives from various digital platforms. The international awards are given to recognise those in the media industry who have delivered original digital and technology content.

This marked the 14th year of the awards being hosted and it was held at a ceremony in Singapore on 3 November as part of the DMA conference. There were around 300 attendees from 98 organisations in 27 countries.
