Many online businesses are selling various kinds of goods in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, but be wary as some of the goods are not authorised.

According to a report by Astro Awani, the police recently discovered online sales of baju Melayu buttons bearing the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) logo.

It looks something like this.
PDRM Corporate Communications Head, Datuk Asmawati Ahmad said such accessories can only be sold to police officers, and that too, only when they present their appointment cards.

Asmawati added that the police could not ascertain the legitimacy of the buyers when the buttons are bought online because licensed dealers are required to record the buyers’ details in a Sales Registration Book and the buyers are required to sign the purchase receipt.

Traditional baju Melayu is the best, right?
She said if such sales are not controlled, criminal acts or impersonations will be rampant.

So, take note of this guys. Don't try to impersonate an actual police officer just to collect these buttons!
