Travelling using a bicycle is not a feasible mode of transportation these days.

It's especially tiring when your daily work depends on it.

A food delivery rider named Mohamad in Penang shared how he had to borrow a bicycle from a friend to deliver food and make some extra income.

Learning about the Mohamad's story Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim Chee Keong shared via Facebook that the 22-year-old only earns RM500 a month from his day job and depended on the extra income to make ends meet.

To ease Mohamad’s burden, Steven decided to buy him a brand new motorcycle.

Determination and tenacity

“Mohamad does not complain about his predicament but instead was thankful for whatever chances he has.

“After work every day, he would borrow his friend’s bicycle to work as a Foodpanda delivery man.

“Getting RM20 to RM30 a day allows him to eat for several days. Sometimes he would only eat nasi lemak every day just to save on money,” he shared as quoted in a report in Malay Mail.

We hope Mohamad's determination will pay off soon.
