Bursa Malaysia Launches First-Of-Its-Kind App To Help You Grow Money Anywhere

Bursa Malaysia Berhad has launched ASEAN's first mobile central depository services (CDS) electronic platform called Bursa Anywhere.

According to a report by Astro Awani, the app aims to allow individual investors to access the CDS anytime and anywhere.

Bursa Malaysia CEO Datuk Muhamad Umar Swift told the news portal that the app is designed to become a “one-stop” platform for investors to manage all matters involving their CDS accounts.

“We aim to provide this experience to almost two million CDS account holders, providing the necessary information access including movements and trends that will open new possibilities," he was quoted as saying.

Through Bursa Anywhere, investors can view the balance shareholdings in all their direct CDS accounts with marked to market value and download account statements for the past 12 months.

Investors with CDS accounts can start downloading the app beginning 11 June. Registration to access Bursa Anywhere is free.
