CMCO Begins In Klang And Several Sabah Areas Soon; Here's What You Need To Know
The government had announced Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Sandakan, Papar and Tuaran in Sabah, and Mukim Klang in Selangor beginning 9 October to check the increasing number of COVID-19 yesterday (7 October).
Since it's been quite a few months since most of us have experienced CMCO, many were confused by what it means exactly, especially for those living in Klang and working outside of its borders.
Security Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, during his daily press conference shared some of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that will be in place for the next two week in the areas where CMCO is being imposed.

Clearing up confusion over Klang CMCO?
When Ismail Sabri first announced CMCO in Klang, many were confused over which areas were affected.Klang is divided into two Mukim - Kapar and Klang, but only Mukim Klang is considered a red zone with over 40 cases.
As such those living in Klang were quite confused.

But if you live in the southern part of Klang, it's a pretty good bet that you're affected.
There is an exception for those working or living in Port Klang. The government has decided to allow business to be conducted as usual there as it's a busy business hub.
