The conditional movement control order (CMCO) imposed on Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will be extended for another two weeks.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the current CMCO was supposed to end on 27 October but will be extended for another two weeks and will end on 9 November now.
"Risk assessment conducted by officials from the Health Ministry found that there are still high risk locations where COVID-19 is spreading in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor.

COVID-19 infections still rising

Numbers still rising.
"Taking into account the risk assessment done, the government has agreed to extend the CMCO in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor for another 14 days from 27 October until 9 November 2020," he said during his daily press conference.
Ismail Sabri said that the SOPs that were previously announced will be applied during the extended two weeks.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri also announced that CMCO would be applied to Nilai as well starting from Wednesdat (28 October).
He said that several districts in Nilai would be placed under enhanced MCO and this would take place from 28 October until 10 November.
Seems like the numbers are not going down anytime soon you guys.
The best thing that we can do is stay at home as much as possible and to ensure that we follow all SOPs if we are required to go out.
Stay safe everyone.
