CMCO: Health DG Noor Hisham Hints At Possible Extension Of CMCO In KL, Putrajaya And Selangor

Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said on Sunday (25 October) that the authorities may look into extending the current conditional movement control order (CMCO) past 27 October, Malay Mail reported.
Dr Noor Hisham revealed that cases in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor have seen a consistent increase despite the districts being put under the CMCO since 14 October.
Therefore, he did not rule out the possible extension of the CMCO.
"If it continues to increase, we may propose an extension of the CMCO," he was quoted as saying.
Dr Noor Hisham revealed that the Health Ministry is monitoring the situation closely, and if there's no increase in cases in the three states, they would do away with an extension of the CMCO.
On Sunday (25 October), a total of 88 new cases were reported in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya saw an additional increase of 11 cases.
