Common Man Coffee Roasters Introduces Night Shift: An Enthralling Dinner Experience in TTDI
Common Man Coffee Roasters, your favourite neighbourhood coffee connoisseurs, recently introduced a whole new dimension to the Common Man experience: Common Man Night Shift.
When the sun sets, Common Man Coffee Roasters transforms itself into Common Man Night Shift, an after-work hours culinary getaway featuring a fusion of classic Italian flavours infused with a Japanese twist and Middle Eastern twists.
We were invited to embrace the life of the night at Night Shift and experience Common Man’s newest culinary attraction.

Of course, Common Man Night Shift would not be complete without their renowned 12" Sourdough Pizzas. We tried their Umami Magic (RM45); with oyster and shimeji mushrooms as toppings, alongside ricotta and mozzarella and a poached egg on top. Frankly, the umami flavour hit the right spot, although next time I’d prefer if they remove the poached egg (my personal preference, obviously).
We concluded our Night Shift with Japanese-inspired Yuzu Cheesecake (RM25), a homage done very well with the right balance of creaminess and zest. We also tried their Okinawa Black Sugar Tiramisu (RM25), which is quite unique given the Savoiardi biscuits dipped in Hojicha, sprinkled with Okinawa Black sugar and soy sauce caramel. The experiment bore fruit, and we commend their bravery in experimenting with recipes that are known to be conservative.
If you’re in for a unique evening, then you have to give Common Man Night Shift a chance to enthral you.
P/s: Always get their iced chocolate, too!
