If you are thinking of travelling anywhere (but you really shouldn't!) that has PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) tolls, please ensure that you have enough balance in your Touch n' Go card.

If you don't, well, you'll be stuck at the toll booth.

That’s because PLUS has stopped accepting cash for prepaid toll payment cards in a bid to reduce physical contact between employees and motorists amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

“In order to prevent COVID-19 virus infection, any cash transactions due to insufficient balance that requires toll teller’s intervention is no longer provided.

“Please ensure your card balance is sufficient during this movement control order,” it said in a digital poster posted on their official Facebook page.

The decision came after the highway concessionaire confirmed that one of its employees at the Ebor toll plaza tested positive for the virus.

So, please stay home, you guys. You shouldn't be driving out and about.
