Are you a regular public transport user?

Then from today onwards (2 October) you can expect stricter enforcement when it comes to health screenings at all public transport terminals, stations and service counters.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong has advised members of the public to strictly adhere to the SOPs.

Follow the SOPs.

"Beginning 2 October, all terminal and station operators including public transport service counters will have to implement COVID-19 preventive measures, including stricter health screenings," he said.

He added that the matter needs serious attention considering the escalating number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

Avoiding another MCO

Keep a safe distance.
"Please give serious attention to the matter.

"As many as 260 positive Covid-19 cases were reported today (1 October) and the three-digit rise is something that is worrying for all," he said.

He added that no one wanted the movement control order (MCO) to be put in effect again.

And we have to agree with him.

So guys, let's just follow the guidelines, stick to the SOPs and hopefully we'll get through this.
