Someone has to say this; the new Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) is confusing AF.
Despite confirming earlier that Malaysians are allowed to participate in sports and recreational activities during the CMCO period in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya as long as it's done in an open space, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has thrown a spanner in your workout plans.

No hanging out at parks

On Wednesday (14 October), DBKL said that all public parks and sports facilities under its jurisdiction will be closed during the entire CMCO period.
The CMCO is tentatively scheduled to end on 27 October.
Sorry, this park is a no go. The affected parks are:
  • Perdana Botanical Garden
  • Titiwangsa Lake Park
  • Bukit Kiara Public Park
  • Permaisuri Lake Park
  • Kepong Metropolitan Park
  • Manjalara Lake Park
  • Datuk Keramat Lake Park
  • Batu Metropolitan Park
  • Bukit Jalil Park
  • Bukit Kerinchi Forest Park
  • Pudu Ulu Recreational Park
  • Dusun Bandar Park
  • Danau Kota Lake Park
  • Ampang Hilir Lake Park
  • Alam Damai Park
  • Sri Rampai Lake Park
  • Ayer Panas Community Park
Phew! That's a long list.
On top of that, DBKL also revealed that all the public restrooms in these parks will also be closed, although the ones in the city center will remain open.
So, if you're thinking of driving all the way to one of the parks listed above to do a Number Two, you'll be very disappointed.
Also, during the CMCO period, DBKL will also be closing all sports facilities under its supervision.
Public libraries (except for the Kuala Lumpur Library and Pustaka KL in Taman Tun Dr Ismail) will also be closed.
So guys, it's best to just stay at home, yeah? Do not go merayau-rayau.
