'Dead' Man Wakes Up At His Own Funeral Shortly Before He Was Buried

A 'dead' man from India gave everyone a shock at his own funeral when he woke up seconds before he’s about to be buried.

According to a report by Philippine Daily Inquirer, 20-year-old Mohammad Furqan was originally pronounced dead by doctors on 1 July, but his body miraculously moved during his funeral ceremony.

That prompted his family to send him to a nearby hospital.

The doctors at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital later declared that the man was still alive and placed him on ventilator support.

It was reported that Mohammad Furqan was admitted into a private hospital on 21 June.

“We had paid Rs 7 lakh (about RM11,590) to the private hospital earlier and when we told them that we had run out of money, they had declared Furqan dead on Monday,” the 20-year-old’s elder brother was quoted as saying.
