Last week, social media was abuzz when photos that show a building located in Jalan Conlay on the verge of collapsing went viral.
According to the post, the building was about to collapse and was causing major traffic jams in the city.
The good news is, the building is not falling and its design was on purpose
According to its website, the tilting building is one of three skyscrapers featuring a five-star Kempinski luxury hotel, retail outlets, and "the world’s tallest twin spiralled residential towers".
The YOO8 Tower A will have 68 storeys and Tower B will have 57.

The building in question is Tower B, features a unique curved design that offers views of KLCC.
Therefore, the building looks to be tilted at a very dangerous angle in its half constructed state.
KSK Land has even shared a picture of what the building would look like once it's completed:

“Designed by RSP Architects KL, 8 Conlay features one of the world’s tallest twisted twin residential towers, called YOO8 serviced by Kempinski.
“Depending on the angle, the towers’ unique design will make them appear as if they are ‘tilted’.
“KSK Land, the developer of 8 Conlay, places safety and genuine care at the heart of its operations and works diligently to assess and assure all healthy and safety requirements are met and guaranteed, ” the company said in a statement quoted by The Star Online.
