Cryptic tweet
Health Director General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah sparked a huge debate online when he hinted at the possible reinmplementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).Those who've just returned from overseas would have to undergo COVID-19 tests and a mandatory14-day quarantine at approved hotels or government facilities, meanwhile returnees from Sabah who test negative are not required to be quarantined.Returnees from overseas comes with a different virus? @DGHisham @KKMPutrajaya https://t.co/9ZnFJ3NbO1— Dom (@domycw) September 30, 2020
When another Twitter user, @zalifahms, suggested that the government should stop interstate travels because we can't trust self quarantine, Dr Noor Hisham responded with another tweet that's been the talk of the town today. How about all stay at Home for awhile again?— Noor Hisham Abdullah (@DGHisham) September 30, 2020

Dear Tan Sri... LOCK IT DOWN!!! If you are considering it means your data is telling you that’s the right thing to do... Otherwise whatever you have done thus far would go down the drain when it’s uncontrollable... if it is not already...

Sir, this is very unfair for us the rakyat marhaen who adhere to the SOP for all this while. But seems like now we are the victim because of the ignorant ministers who put the power above everything! Thought the SOP applies for ALL. #RakyatJagaRakyat

How about telling the politicians to follow the SOPs and abide by the rules like everyone else? You know, do the whole ‘lead by example’ kind of thing? #justsaying #statingthefacts #nomoredoublestandards

For our safety, it’s okay if we stay at home but kesian for those yang nak hadap SPM this year and next year☹️they need to catch up everything. SPM is important and at the same time , our safety and our health are important too . Hmm i have no idea about this?

Tan Sri - the problem is that you cannot trust Malaysians to obey the HSO / Self Quarantine. We keep seeing cases of people ignoring advice - Sivaganga cluster for example. I think we need to enforce quarantine at Quarantine Centres no HSO, we have MAEPS, we should make use of it

What do you guys think? Should the government reintroduce the MCO?Hujung2 rakyat jadi mangsa kan? Those spreader tu politician yang berkempen sabah sana tu and political atmosphere di sabah is punca. Pkp lagi? Easy to talk. Yang gaji beribu ribu ribu tu boleh lah, fikir kami ni yang b40. How do we want to survive?
