Dog in Kedah Hailed as a Hero After Fiercely Protecting Owner's Workshop from Armed Robbers

In a report by Kwong Wah, the incident took place on Monday (March 3) at around 1 am at a car workshop in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

The two robbers were reportedly riding a motorcycle. Perhaps thinking it was an easy job, the duo was immediately harassed by the dog belonging to the owner of the car workshop as they were breaking in.

The dog's wild barking attracted the attention of the adjacent fruit stall, who witnessed the incident. The canine fought fiercely against the robbers before finally managing to chase them away.

However, the dog was badly injured in the process after it was slashed in the head with a machete, leaving a deep gash that bled profusely.

As news about the dog's bravery spread, a representative from a dog shelter decided to donate over RM2,000 to pay for the dog's medical bills.

After spending a week in intensive care, the brave dog thankfully survived and has now been taken home by its owner.
