Ebit Lew Donates Food To Zoo Negara After Receiving Request To Help Save The Animals

It seems like there’s almost nothing that celebrity preacher Ustaz Ebit Lew can’t do.

From sending a cargo plane full of aid to Sabah to assisting our frontliners who are working hard during COVID-19, Ebit Lew has now gone out of his way to help the animals at Zoo Negara.

According to a posting via his Facebook page, Ebit received a request from Zoo Negara to save the animals there.

The zoo told him that the estimated cost to maintain the zoo and to purchase food is about RM1 million monthly and they do not have the means due to the ongoing pandemic.

Responding to the zoo’s pleas, the motivational speaker immediately sent food supplies consisting of 200kg of cow meat and 500kg of fruits and vegetables on the same day.

“I first came here when I was in Standard 1. I used to bring my kids all the time to introduce them to animals,” Ebit wrote.

He was also shocked to find out that the zoo is operated by an NGO and the establishment welcomes any form of donations during the pandemic.

The post has received over 5,000 shares and close to 70,000 likes to date with netizens applauding the preacher for his kindness and generosity.

This isn’t the first time Zoo Negara has gone into financial complications as the zoo had previously pleaded for donations on several occasions throughout the pandemic.
