What do you do with clothes that you no longer want or cannot use?

Well, if you purchased them from UNIQLO, you can actually donate it to the needy by dropping them off at recycling boxes set up in all their stores.

In a post on 3 Oct, the clothing brand spoke of the initiative and said that their first UNIQLO Clothing Corner had been set up at the Pusat Transit Gelandangan Kuala Lumpur.

These transit centres usually offer basic services such as toilets, bathrooms, prayer rooms as well as a food distribution points for homeless persons.

Some decent clothes for the needy

"The homeless will now have access to casual wear, sports attire, and even work wear - all donated by our generous customers - as they start their new lives seeking employment with the support of the center," they wrote in the post.

To help with this initiative, all you have to do if drop off your pre-loved UNIQLO products into the recycling boxes.

Cool!

Oh, if any of the products are deemed unreusable (i.e. koyak here and there or just too worn out), UNIQLO themselves will recycle them.

Love it!
