According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Jollibee is planning to expand their operations to 500 outlets worldwide in United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Yay, here’s to more choices of fried chicken!

So, we know all of you must be wondering, where in Malaysia shall the first ever Jollibee store be opened?

In an interview with 4-Traders, Jollibee Chief Finance Officer Ysmael Baysa said: "For Malaysia, we are doing it first in the eastern part, Kota Kinabalu. There are a lot of Filipinos [there] so we first focus on the Filipinos and then start spreading.”

Now we’re jealous of all our Sabahan friends who get to be the first few to experience dining at the famous Filipino fast-food chain store.

Well, perhaps it’s time for us to plan a short-trip to Kota Kinabalu at the end of the year.

If you’re wondering what you should order on your first trip there, you should get the the ever-so-popular crunchy and flavourful Chickenjoy Fried Chicken, the Jolly Spaghetti (which we’re really curious about because it's apparently favoured by many of its customers) and the Burger Steak Meal, which is essentially steak with mushroom gravy and rice.

Well, we Malaysians love rice so we predict it’ll do well in our market.
