#GE14: Malaysian Netizens Bring Out The Funny Memes

You can count on Malaysians to entertain each other.

9 May 2018. It was the date where history was made after Barisan Nasional's 60-year reign as the country's ruling party was brought to an end.

For Malaysians who have been following the 14th General Elections from start to finish, they could all agree that is was an emotional and tiring rollercoaster ride.

There were plenty of drama and on-the-edge-of-your-seat moments as Malaysians waited anxiously in front of the TV screens for the results of possibly the greatest general elections in the country's history.

However, the rollercoaster ride of emotions did not end on 9 May as the Election Commission (EC) drew the ire of the rakyat for their super slow announcing of the results.

It wasn't until almost 5am on Thursday that the EC finally announced that Pakatan Harapan has won enough seats to be declared the winning party and form the next federal government.
