Remember the nine-year-old who made friends with the health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah after writing him a letter of gratitude that comes complete with a LoomBand?
Lara Khadijah McAfee, who received a heartwarming respond from Dr Noor Hisham, is overjoyed with it because she did not expect a reply so soon.
Dr Noor Hisham, in his response, had thanked her for the lovely bracelet she made.
"My granddaughter is wearing it and she likes it!
"Your words are too kind but I am not doing it alone. I am lucky to have a great team with me to help our country.
"Fellow Malaysians like yourself, have been a wonderful help by playing your part by staying at home. Please continue to do so, and together we can fight the virus. Your new friend," he wrote in his reply letter which warmed the hearts of Malaysians.

After receiving the letter, an overjoyed Lara told Free Malaysia Today that she would be framing the letter and putting it up in her room.
Lara, said she chose the combination of white, light blue and dark blue colours for the LoomBand after learning from a quick search online that they represented hygiene.
The Year Three student of Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Budiman said she also plans to write to other frontliners.
What a sweet gesture, right? Thank you for your love, Lara.
