Good News! You Can Now Buy The New Lamborghini Aventador S In Malaysia!

Hey, we know how you could spend your hard-earned bonus or your BR1M payment: you could splurge it all on the brand new Lamborghini Aventador S!

Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur, the sole distributor for the supercar brand in Malaysia, officially launched the Aventador S at an exclusive unveiling in Shah Alam on Wednesday.

Marcus Chye, the CEO of Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur, told Bernama that the predecessor to the Aventador was expected to be well-received by the public due to its various upgrades, which include a new four-wheel-steering system and a brand new EGO driving mode.

“The Aventador S is the only V12 mid-engine production passenger car. It has a refined look compared to its predecessor, the Aventador, launched in 2011,” he was quoted by the news agency as saying.

Now, here comes the most important question: how much do we need to pay to bring one home?

According to Chye, the Aventador S will be priced at a jaw-dropping RM3.3 million – minus road tax and insurance.

Surely, with the economic downturn and all, no one would be able to afford it, right?

“We already have five bookings for the new Aventador S,” Chye told Bernama, adding that potential buyers would have to wait between six to 12 months to get the keys to the supercar.

If you're thinking, "What's the big deal about the new Lamborghini?", well, here's the answer: the Aventador S boasts a 6.5-liter, V12 engine which is capable of pumping out an insane 730 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 350km/h.

So, is it worth spending every penny in your tabung kahwin to get one? Absolutely yes.
