Government Launches MySejahtera App To Help In The Fight Against COVID-19
It is true when they say that there's an app for everything.
The government has introduced the MySejahtera App that you can download to your phone and tablet to help you and relevant authorities to monitor your health in relation to COVID-19.
The app allows users to key in their health status while the COVID-19 pandemic is happening, as well as learn the closest clinics and hospitals they can go to get treated. On the governments side, the app helps the Health Ministry to manage and mitigate the outbreak using the data collected via the app.
The app was developed through a cooperation between the National Security Council (NSC), the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
The self health assessment feature of MySejahtera is crucial for @KKMPutrajaya. For example, 345 people have been identified as persons under investigation based on the simple questionnaire. Keeping track of your health
When you download the app, you will be answering a questionnaire which will help place you under a relevant category.
The categories are: low risk; casual contact (i.e. someone who might have come into contact with a COVID-19 patient); close contact (i.e. individual who've had direct contact with COVID-19 patients); Person Under Surveillance (PUS) (i.e. individual at risk of contracting the disease, for example those who have traveled recently); and confirmed case.

If you have family members who don't have a smartphone, you can also input their information on your app.
You can download the app for free from the Gallery of Malaysian Government Mobile Applications (Gamma), Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery.
