The upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri SOPs are out, guys!

There quite are a number of rules to follow, so please follow it to the T to avoid COVID-19 numbers from increasing further.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that for those living within Movement Control Order (MCO) areas, Hari Raya visits would be permitted but only on the first day and limited to 15 people at a time, depending on the size of the house.

For those living in Conditional MCO (CMCO) and Recovery MCO (RMCO) areas, Raya visits are allowed but only for the first three days.



For CMCO areas, not more than 20 guests are allowed at one time, while for RMCO areas, not more than 25 guests are allowed at one time.

The number of allowed guests will also depend on the size of the property.

"The owner of the house is encouraged to get temperature readings from guests, use the MySejahtera QR code to check-in or have a book to note down names and numbers of guests.

"This is for contact tracing purposes," he said during a press conference on 4 May.

No guests for EMCO areas

The minister added that for Enhanced MCO (EMCO) areas, no guests would be permitted.

Those residing in EMCO areas can only celebrate the occasion with other members residing in the same house.

Open houses (we're guessing they mean official or large scale open houses - the minister did not specify) will not be allowed at all.



As for visits to the graveyard, Ismail Sabri said that a maximum of six people would be allowed to visit one lot.

"Visitors will only be allowed to stay for a maximum of 30 minutes. Visiting graveyards in MCO and EMCO areas will not be allowed," he added.

That's a lot of rules and regulations to follow but this is just something that all of us will have to get used to.
